Bay Plaza Keys is in National City, so visiting the counter is the simplest way to ask about a copy. Bring the original key, tell the team what it opens and let them check it before it is copied.

Our shop is in the Bay Plaza center on East Plaza Boulevard, at space K6. National City has about 7.3 square miles of land in the 2025 Census Gazetteer, and the Census reference point for the city is about 0.8 miles southwest of the shop in a straight line.

Bring the key itself rather than a photo of it. The cut, the blank and any wear all matter, and the team looks at the key in person before copying it.

If the original sticks or turns roughly, say so at the counter. A copy follows the shape of the key it is cut from, so ask whether a worn key should be checked first.

The counter is open Monday to Sunday, 9am to 5pm. Call (619) 336-1311 before a special trip to confirm the key type and current availability.

## Bring the original

A photo cannot show the blank or the wear, so bring the key you want copied.

## Say what it opens

A front door, a mailbox and a padlock can use different blanks, so name the lock each key belongs to.
